Tokens

I thought of a little something something that I would like to bring into the game - Tokens!

Tokens will be randomly awarded throughout games that can be used to purchase 'perks' or rewards within the Giveaway itself.

They are not physical items, it is simply a number on a counter associated with each player. Balances will be displayed on each player's Stats page

Rewards will be split into different tiers with each tier having a certain Token cost.

Here is what I have at the moment for details:

Obtaining Tokens

Each time you roll, similiar to the Progressive Jackpot, there will be a separate roll with a 1/3 chance to determine whether or not you will receive any Tokens.
If it has been determined that you will receive Tokens, a separate check rolls to see whether you will receive a random amount between 1 and 9 Tokens, or a whopping 100 Tokens.
The 100 Tokens is a 1/69 chance, otherwise there is an equal chance of receiving any amount between 1 and 9.

Rewards

So far, I'm thinking the rewards will be cash rewards and special 'perks' for within the Giveaway. Rewards can be "purchased" by telling me what you would like to spend your Tokens on when it is your turn, and any Reward that will have an impact on a roll will need to be purchased before rolling for it to work.
Rewards will be split into the following tiers (names and rewards subject to change lmao, basically everything with a chance of winning GP is a filler until I think of something cooler):

Sapphire Tier (5 Tokens)

- 15,000 Coins

- 50% Chance of Receiving 30,000 Coins

- 25% Chance of Receiving 45,000 Coins

- 10% Chance of Receiving 60,000 Coins

Emerald Tier (25 Tokens)

- Double Your Next Prize

- 100,000 Coins

- 50% Chance of Receiving 200,000 Coins

- 25% Chance of Receiving 400,000 Coins

Ruby Tier (75 Tokens)

- Triple Your Next Prize

- Keep Your Prize on Next Failed Double Attempt

- 420,000 Coins

- 50% Chance of Receiving 840,000 Coins

Diamond Tier (150 Tokens)

- Quadruple Your Next Prize

- Keep your Prize on Next Failed Triple Attempt

- Roll Again Instantly

- 1,000,000 Coins

This is an ongoing project/idea and we'll see how far it goes/what you all think of it when the time comes.

I am on track to have this all ready to go for this weekend! Hope to see you there!

May 2, 2021

I have an exciting idea that I will be working this week to get implemented. Get ready for the...

PROGRESSIVE JACKPOT!

For any unaware, a Progressive Jackpot is basically a running jackpot that increases over time as more people play.
-

This is how I plan to implement it:

- Each time somebody rolls, they will first be rolling for a chance to win the Progressive Jackpot.
The odds I'm leaning towards for now is a 1/11,000 chance, though I might make the odds better.
-

- Whenever somebody rolls a prize, 10% of that prize's value will be added to the Progressive Jackpot.

For example, if somebody won 100,000 coins, then 10,000 coins (10% of 100,000) will be added to the Progressive Jackpot's value.
NOTE: This 10,000 does not come out of the player's win.
-

- If a player successfully attempts to multiply their prize, I will add 10% of the multiplied prize value instead of the single value.

If the player fails to multiply their prize, 1,000 coins will still be added to the Progressive Jackpot, effectively ensuring that the Progressive Jackpot will increase a minimum of 1,000 coins for every roll.
-

- The Progressive Jackpot will continue to grow and will not reset until somebody wins. Even if it takes weeks.
-

I HOPE to get this all ready for next weekend. We shall see!
